I’ll have what she’s having

It's October 1! This year has gone by so quickly. One of things I love about Fall, is the fashion trends it brings. I'm a sucka for chunky sweaters and bold prints. I must admit I don't venture past the earth tones, but I love it all. The boots, the scarfs...LOVE!
Of course, since I'm in California, I'm limited to the type of sweaters I can get. It may look cold out, but chances are the sun will be out before noon and you'll bake! The best time to dress this way is at night. The nights are...or can get chilly and perfect for layering your outfit. We love taking strolls or getting coffee and chatting outside.

I'm puttin' this whole town in my rear view...

I don't know about you, but I miss Tower Records. Wolf Boy and I would hang out there all the time. We would listen to new music and learn about new artists and meet really cool people. We were so sad to hear they were closing and now Boarders has closed it's doors. It's crazy how fast things are going under. It's pretty scary. There might not be a Basketball season this year. What's next to close? What has happened to us? I guess we all need to start taking a good look at what's really important. No more wastefulness. Let's be humble again.

It's either me or Santa. I suggest Santa

After the 4th time of hitting snooze on the alarm, I was not going into work. It's been one of those weeks and it's only Tuesday! I rolled over and had the best sleep I've had in a long time. Funny how it's only 5-10 extra minutes of sleep, but they feel like heaven! I rolled out of bed and made us breakfast. Wolf Boy got ready {and reluctantly} went to work. It's hard for him to leave when he knows I'll be home. He feels like he's missing out on something. Or I'll be having way too much fun while he's stuck at work. Personally, I love it. I like his company, but sometimes I just neeeeeeed to be alone...a l o n e!
After my second cup of coffee, I cleaned up and took a shower. I surfed daytime tv as I got ready. I loove taking my sweet as time when I get ready. I think because I always feel rushed when I'm getting ready. I hate that feeling. Once I came to from the daze of Unsolved Mysteries, I got ready and headed to the mall. I've been meaning to get some jeans, but I hate shopping now. I can never find what I'm looking for... I'm 27 and I feel like the clothes they sell out there is for someone totally out of my age group. All the short-shorts, the see-through eeeeverything. What is up with that? Most of the shirts require a cami under,or not if you don't mind your bra being on display. Is the material that cheap now?
Forever 21 made me happy, it was nicely organized, since it was so empty I  easily found what I needed. I got 7 pairs of jeans and 2 pairs of flats. Spending an awesome $76.00!
Feeling like a G, I met up with Wolf Boy for some McDonalds in the parking lot. Love how we eat like high, high schoolers! I drove home and took a nap. Why can't this be my life?

Would you like me to help you with your shopping?

I'm horrible at shopping. I wasn't always like this. I used to be able to walk into a mall/store and know what I wanted, my size, the colors that looked best on me and boom! I had a few new outfits that I could mix up and look fly in. Now...I don't know my size, what stores to look in, what works for my skin tone. When did this happen? I have such a played out wardrobe that I really wish I could just burn it all and start a new. The only thing is that would cost money, money I don't have because I waste it on stupid shirts and pants that once I take home look different and fit me weird.
I found a Korean website and thought cool! I will check it out and order from it. BIG mistake! First of all, I'm 5'7 and weigh about 140. To me I feel like a sasquash, but I'm told I'm an idiot...a lot, but back to the story at hand, I ordered 10 shirts. With shipping it came out to $114. I waited 1 week and my package arrived, I was so excited because they looked so great online and I was already envisioning myself in them looking, super awesome. Once I unpacked everything (they really wrapped that issh in plastic and tape) I was sadly disappointed.
First of all I must be obese in Korean standards, because most of the shirts I ordered were Medium, now as far as Forever21 goes, that's what I comfortably fit into. I was unable to put on about 3 of the shirts because they were so small. Then the ones that fit me, fit weird. It would cost more to ship it back then my refund, so I gave them to my cousin. I feel like I wasted $68, because I really only kept 4 of the 10 items I purchased. Lesson learned I guess...
